IESC, as the lead implementer of USDA’s Capacity Building and Change Management Program, under the Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance (VEGA), established an automated, integrated and comprehensive financial management system in the Afghan Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation & Livestock (MAIL), which led to a doubling of MAIL’s disbursement for agricultural activities during the last quarter.
