IESC has a number of different ways to work with US- and internationally-based clients, donors and partner organizations. The following examples are some of the ways you can access our services.

Partner with IESC
IESC implements economic growth programs under contracts and cooperative agreements, as both a prime contractor and a subcontractor. We are open to inquiries from organizations interested in subcontracting to IESC or organizations interested in having IESC on your team as a subcontractor.
US Government Contracting Mechanisms
IESC’s services can be accessed through United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) Indefinite Quantity Contracts (IQCs) and the Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance (VEGA) Leader With Associate (LWA) award.
Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance (VEGA) Leader With Associate (LWA)
The Volunteers for Economic Growth Alliance (VEGA) is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, founded in 2004 through a Leader with Associate (LWA) cooperative agreement, as a vehicle to allow USAID Economic Growth Officers to reach out to organizations providing technical experts in private, public and NGO sector development. Since its inception in 2004, USAID funding of $4 million for VEGA has resulted in global programs worth more than $140 million. The VEGA LWA is a unique and preferred procurement vehicle for the following reasons: the VEGA LWA has been extended until 2014; there is no award ceiling; programs awarded under the VEGA LWA can continue for 5 years beyond the 2014 LWA end-date; and the VEGA LWA requires an internal competition among the member organizations, a unique asset compared to other LWA mechanisms. Additional information about the VEGA LWA can be found in the VEGA information sheet.
United States Trade and Development Agency (USTDA)
IESC is a prime contractor for the USTDA Indefinite Quantity Contract for Reverse Trade Missions, Conferences, Workshops, Training, and Outreach Activities.

Volunteer Consultancies
IESC still provides volunteer technical assistance to companies and organizations around the world. We assist companies and organizations under multifaceted and multi-year programs funded by our clients. These have included the US Agency for International Development (USAID), US State Department, US Department of Agriculture, Millennium Challenge Corporation, foundations, multinational corporations, and foreign governments. If you are interested in receiving volunteer technical assistance from IESC, we can provide such assistance through a larger program. If we do not have a program in your country, it will be necessary to establish such a program with funding from a client that supports such initiatives. To explore establishing a program in your country please contact us.
